Zooming to VALBI
A note from Pr Fred on the first Zoom training session to VALBI:
Hello friends,
It’s Thursday evening and the first edition of Zoom Teaching for the Vietnam Australia Lutheran Bible Institute (VALBI) has concluded.. Both David Christian and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Great News... there were no problems with the technology and both of us quickly discovered the best way to set up. Better still... around 160 people were tuned in... Yep, that’s right... 160 participants...
Best of all... the Father was worshipped and honoured as we honoured and worshipped Jesus as Saviour and Lord through the unashamed proclaiming of the Gospel. Who knows the fruit of this teaching? No one... but I did come home with joy in my heart for knowing I’d been part of a good kingdom event.
David and I will review with some of their leaders on Saturday. Asia Focus has committed to do this every second month. They are pleading to do this on a monthly basis... Whether that is possible depends entirely on what is financially possible.
Finally, I can’t thank you enough for your prayer cover for them and us. Heaven was open, and hearts and minds were open.
Be blessed in Christ...
Pr Fred Veerhuis
Editor’s note:
The Asia Focus budget for Vietnam covers the cost of running the VALBI classes every 2 months. During the VALBI review meeting on Saturday, Pr Fred said that it was decided to provide the Zoom teaching each month during 2022. The extra 5-6 sessions will be funded independently of the AFA budget. To assist with the extra outlay, additional financial assistance would be very much appreciated by the VALBI teaching team.
