GOD’S GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU AND ME

By Wilson (Waka Vai), Global Lutheran Village, Liberia

Faith cannot operate in the realm of the flesh as a human undertaking, nor does the Glory of God.

In 2003, I was converted in a refugee camp in Laine, in the south of Guinea, by the message of a preacher there. The message was from Acts 4:12: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”  It is only by having faith in Jesus Christ as the true Son of God that we can be saved.

Pastor Browne was the preacher, a remarkable man. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and, during the preaching, was very challenged and inspired by Pr Browne’s own life story. Since then, God has used me to reach people in many ways. I have met thousands of people one-on-one which has allowed me to tell them how very precious they are to God.

I don’t think there is anyone who needs God’s help and grace as much as I do. Sometimes, I feel so helpless and weak and I think this is why God uses me. I cannot depend on my own strength, I must rely on Him every day and night.

In my ministry, I love to educate the children. It is a very dedicated calling to help the children grow in the Christian way.

God bless you all.
